1. Pitch Perfect 2 exceeded expectations and claimed the number 1 spot with over $69 million.
2. Mad Max: Fury Road also had a really excellent weekend along with it's very positive reviews.
3. Furious 7 remains in the top 5 for the 7th week in a row.
4. The biggest loser of the weekend was Hot Pursuit which made 59% less than it did last week and the biggest winner of the week was Far from the Maddening Crowd as it made 61.3% more than it did last week.
5. Overall while the weekend was top heavy, this was a really solid weekend at the box office.
