My Review of Unforgettable

So I recently watched Unforgettable and I'm here to bring you my review. So without further ado...

Barely coping with the end of her marriage, Tessa Connover (played by Katherine Heigl) learns that her ex-husband, David (played by Geoff Stults), is now happily engaged to Julia (played by Rosario Dawson). Trying to settle into her new life, Julia believes she has finally met the man of her dreams, the man who can help her forget her troubled past. Soon, Tessa's jealousy starts to consume her, and she will stop at nothing to turn Julia's paradise into the ultimate nightmare.

This is an insane and terribly boring film. Before anyone asks the questions, yes we've seen this type of film  constantly and we generally get the same type of film around September in films like When the Bough Breaks and The Perfect Guy. So as far as the plot goes, it follows the same beats as those two films and you never can get fully invested because you know what is going to happen. The cast is pretty great and in a shocking statement, Katherine Heigl gives the best performance in the film and honestly that's not a good thing when you have someone like Rosario Dawson in the film with her. While Heigl does give the best performance in the film, the performances are terrible and every single line in the film feels forced and unwanted almost as if a child wrote the script. There is nothing that is really redeemable and even the more original scares aren't that great because some of them are focused on way before the eventually scare that it ruins the surprise. Overall it is a very sloppy film that makes no sense mainly due to boring the same exact plot that we've seen over and over again the past few recent years and the talented cast can do nothing to save the film. I give Unforgettable a 1 out of 10.

So ladies and gentlemen what did you think of Unforgettable, what would you rate it and what did you think of my review? Let me know in the comments section below and let your voice be heard.
