My Review of Bad Moms

So I recently watched Bad Moms and I'm here to bring you my review. So without further ado.....

Amy (played by Mila Kunis) has a great husband, overachieving children, beautiful home and successful career. Unfortunately, she's also overworked, exhausted and ready to snap. Fed up, she joins forces with two other stressed-out mothers (played by Kristen Bell, Kathryn Hahn) to get away from daily life and conventional responsibilities. As the gals go wild with their newfound freedom, they set themselves up for the ultimate showdown with PTA queen bee Gwendolyn (played by Christina Applegate) and her clique of seemingly perfect moms.

This was a really surprising film to watch. From the moment this film was announced and even after the trailers were released, immediately the main impression was that this is going to be a terrible film with a lot of great actresses phoning in their performances and executing cringe-worthy jokes. However that is not the case and everything is the complete opposite. Yes the story is nothing special and it's predictable, but the jokes make you forget how bad story really is. There are a lot of jokes that make you wonder how they made the final cut of the film. You don't expect performances in a comedy film to be great, but the performances are great in this film with the real standout being Kathryn Hahn and she steals the film and you just get excited to see her on screen. Mila Kunis also gives one the funnier performances of her career and she really showed her leading actress potential in the film. Overall this is one of the funniest films of the year even if the story isn't that great, is cringe-worthy and is predictable. I give Bad Moms a 7.5 out of 10.

So ladies and gentlemen what did you think of Bad Moms, what would you rate it and what did you think of my review? Let me know in the comments section below and let your voice be heard.
