My Review of The Perfect Match

So I recently watched The Perfect Match and I'm here to bring you here to my review. So without further ado...

Charlie (played by Terrence J) is a charming playboy who doesn't believe in serious relationships. His best friends bet him that if he commits to one woman for one month, he's bound to fall in love. Charlie accepts the seemingly easy challenge, but wasn't expecting to cross paths with the beautiful and mysterious Eva (played by Cassie Ventura). When Charlie coaxes her into a casual affair, Eva turns the tables on him, forcing the lifelong bachelor to question whether he wants more than just a one-night stand.

This film is so stupid it's not even funny. When people argue that today's film aren't original, you can actually say that there are a lot of original films, but you never see them. However, this film right here supports the unoriginal films argument. Tell me where you've heard this story before, A guy has trouble with women and he makes a long-term bet with his friends and as he goes throughout he comes across struggles when staying true to the bet and he falls in love with the girl anyway. That synopsis reminds a whole lot of the 2001 film, 40 Days and 40 Nights. It practically follows that plot beat for beat and this film doesn't really add anything to that synopsis. The acting is horrendous and the best parts of the film come from Paula Patton and Joe Pantoliano and they aren't even that good in the film. The film as you would expect is so predictable and the film is just so unwatchable a lot of the time. The were a few parts of the film where it gets really sappy and cheesy, but the jokes do hit home most of the time. Overall this was a poorly made, horribly acted unoriginal with laughs that are few and far between. I give The Perfect Match a 1 out of 10.
