So I recently watched The Divergent Series: Allegiant and I'm here to bring you my review. So without further ado...
Tris (played by Shailene Woodley) escapes with Four (played by Theo James) to journey beyond the wall that encloses Chicago. For the first time, they leave the only city and family they have ever known to find a peaceful solution. Once outside, they learn shocking new truths that render old discoveries meaningless. As the ruthless battle threatens humanity, Tris and Four quickly decide who to trust to survive. Tris must ultimately make difficult choices about courage, allegiance, sacrifice and love.
This film is an absolute trainwreck. Look if you love watching these movies, then that's fine, but you have to admit that these films are basic carbon copies of both The Hunger Games franchise and The Maze Runner films. If you can't admit that, then you need to have your head checked. The film is so boring, everything is forced horribly and nothing as any substance. The entire film is predictable and you can automatically guess what is going to happen at least 3 or 4 scenes before they happen. The story just doesn't make any sense and it is basically a copy of what you saw in the last film. The dialogue in the film just doesn't work and all of it feels forced and it is cringeworthy. However while the dialogue is atrocious, the performances are pretty decent and each actor has their own moments to shine. There are some cool visuals and elements that can keep you entertained for a little while, but it just doesn't hold any weight because the story and characters are just so boring and unenjoyable. Overall this film is just a mess and complete unoriginal sequel to a franchise that doesn't interest the normal moviegoer. I give The Divergent Series: Allegiant a 1.5 out of 10.
So ladies and gentlemen what did you think of The Divergent Series: Allegiant, what would you rate it and what did you think of my review? Let me know in the comments section below and let your voice be heard.
