1. Split, on the back of its very high critical reviews, made over $40 million and it was the 4th highest opening weekend for director M. Night Shyamalan.
2. With this weekends numbers, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story crossed the $1 billion mark becoming the 28th film to do so.
3. xXx: The Return of Xander Cage had a pretty solid weekend and with it's foreign total it looks as if it will make back its budget and we could see more films in the franchise.
4. The biggest loser of the weekend was The Bye Bye Man as it made 74.6% less than it did last weekend and there was no biggest winner of the weekend.
5. I went 3 for 5 on my predictions.
Predictions
1. Resident Evil: The Final Chapter $21 Million
2. Split $19 Million
3. xXx: The Return of Xander Cage $15 Million
1. Resident Evil: The Final Chapter $21 Million
