My Review of Underworld: Blood Wars

So I recently watched Underworld: Blood Wars and I'm here to bring you my review. So without further ado...

Underworld Blood Wars.jpg

Death dealer Selene (played by Kate Beckinsale) must fend off brutal attacks from both the Lycan clan and the vampire faction that betrayed her. Joining forces with allies David (played by Theo James) and Thomas (played by Peter Andersson), she embarks on a quest to end the eternal war between the two races, even if it means making the ultimate sacrifice.

This is just an absolutely terrible film. The Underworld franchise has quite frankly gotten worse and worse with every passing film and this film is just a really miserable film to watch. The last film in this franchise came out 5 years ago and that length of time between sequels for a struggling franchise isn't the smartest idea in the world and it shows in the whole production of the film. You as an audience member can't seem to care about any of the character mainly due to the disconnect between the films as well as the story for this film which is just absolutely confusing to follow along with. Kate Beckinsale is a great actress and it's really hard to watch her try to get here way through this mess. It's also a very short film in that it only lasts 91 minutes which also doesn't help you reconnect with the characters because everything moves so fast and is completely out of control. The film is meant to be a action-horror film and it ends up being more of a comedy simply because all of the dialogue as well as the premise are just laughable to say the least. If there was one positive to the film, it's that the visuals look really good, but even at times they do look a little cartoonish. Overall this film is just sloppy in it's execution and it will slowly be a film everyone forgets. I give Underworld: Blood Wars a 0.5 out of 10.

So ladies and gentlemen what did you think of Underworld: Blood Wars, what would you rate it and what did you think of my review? Let me know in the comments section below and let your voice be heard.
