My Review of Geostorm

So I recently watched Geostorm and I'm here to bring you my review. So without further ado.......

After an unprecedented series of natural disasters threatened the planet, the world's leaders came together to create an intricate network of satellites to control the global climate and keep everyone safe. But now, something has gone wrong: the system built to protect Earth is attacking it, and it becomes a race against the clock to uncover the real threat before a worldwide geostorm wipes out everything and everyone along with it.

This might be one of the dumbest films ever made. We live in a time where a lot of great and original content is being made although it doesn't seem like it. However amidst of all the great content, there are a few stinkers in the group that give other other films bad names and this film is one of those film. On paper the premise sounds really interesting, but the execution of the story is utterly ridiculous and it honestly becomes more of a comedy than a disaster film. The performances are so bad that it might be a good idea not to mention the actors involved so that in this blog they never come up when searching this film. Although the film might be one of the worst films made not for this year, but of all-time, there are some pretty good visual effects and being honest, this film might be in the contention of Best Visual Effects which doesn't seem realistic, but it could happen. As you could probably tell, the film is fairly predictable in a lot of aspects that we've seen from previous disaster films and it also brings nothing new to the genre for you as an audience member to sink you teeth into. It's a film that takes a lot to get through without either getting really bored or really upset you wasted your money on the film. Overall it has an interesting premise, but outside of that, it becomes one of the worst films ever made and it really just dumbs down the disaster movie genre into one of the laughing stock genres, but it does have great visuals that you can stare at in the film. I give Geostorm a 0.5 out of 10.

So ladies and gentlemen what did you think of Geostorm, what would you rate it and what did you think of my review? Let me know in the comments section below and let your voice be heard.
