1. Dunkirk had a really solid opening weekend and looks to hold onto the number one spot for a couple of weeks.
2. War for the Planet of the Apes had a very disappointing second weekend especially for a summer blockbuster and this film.
3. Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets absolutely bombed at the box office and the film will be lucky to make back its money.
4. The biggest loser of the weekend was War for the Planet of the Apes as it made 62.9% less than it did last weekend and there was no biggest winner of the weekend.
5. I went 1 for 5 on my predictions.

Predictions
1. Dunkirk $23 Million
2. The Emoji Movie $18 Million
3. Atomic Blonde $15 Million
4. Girls Trip $12 Million
5. Spider-Man: Homecoming $9 Million

So ladies and gentlemen what do you think of this weekend's box office totals and what are some of your takeaways? Let me know in the comments section below and let your voice be heard.
