1. To no one's surprise, Annabelle: Creation took over the number one spot at the box office, but it may not hold onto that spot for long with several new releases set to hit theaters this weekend.
2. Outside of Annabelle: Creation, this has to be one of the worst weekends of the year. If you combine the weekend total for 2 through 6, you would barely pass what Annabelle: Creation did on its own by a little over $4 million.
3. The Nut Job 2: Nutty by Nature had the worst opening weekend for a film that opened in over 4,000 theaters beating the record by $16 million which was set by The Emoji Movie only 2 weeks ago.
4. The biggest loser of the weekend was The Dark Tower as it made 59.2% less than it did last weekend and there was no biggest winner of the weekend.
5. I went 1 for 5 on my predictions.
