My Review of Cars 3

So I recently watched Cars 3 and I'm here to bring you my review. So without further ado............

Blindsided by a new generation of blazing-fast cars, the legendary Lighting McQueen (voiced by Owen Wislon) finds himself pushed out of the sport that he loves. Hoping to get back in the game, he turns to Cruz Ramirez (voiced by Cristela Alonzo), an eager young technician who has her own plans for winning. With inspiration from the Fabulous Hudson Hornet (voiced by Paul Newman using unused recordings) and a few unexpected turns, No. 95 prepares to compete on Piston Cup Racing's biggest stage.

After the disappointment of the second film, is really heart-warming and a really fun film to watch. One thing about Pixar films is that they are always changing the game by bringing more adult themes to kids films and this film does just that in that it talks about death and growing old which are subjects that may not resonate well with children, but there are fun things for them to enjoy. Visually the film is absolutely gorgeous and while you can sometimes say that about every animated film simply because there are more bright colors used, the shots and scenery they were able to capture are absolutely breathtaking. Story wise it's a really generic film that we've seen over and over again and there is one certain scene that happens and then after that the film becomes really predictable to the point where you can almost tune out of the film completely. The comedy in the film isn't too strong with a lot of jokes being annoying and predictable, but there are some laughs that are really good and will have you laughing when you walk out of the theater. One of the biggest complaints of Cars 2 was that Mater (voiced by Larry the Cable Guy) was in the film too much and in fact was the star of the film and in this film he's barely in it which is sort of a welcome sight because the type of humor he brings to the table is often dumb humor that just doesn't work all that well. Overall this film is a fun in some points and while it is an improvement over Cars 2, that really isn't saying much. I give Cars 3 a 6.5 out of 10.

So ladies and gentlemen what did you think of Cars 3, what would you rate it and what did you think of my review? Let me know in the comments section below and let your voice be heard.
