1. Guardians of the Galaxy dominated the weekend box office with a very surprising $94 million
2. Get on Up had a solid opening weekend for a film that I consider is and Oscar-bait type of film.
3. There weren't any movies that have been out longer than a month that were in the top 10 this week.
4. I'm glad to A Most Wanted Man be in the top 10 and that's acreddited to the acting of the late Philip Seymour Hoffman.
5. Despite Guardians of the Galaxy's big opening the weekend overall was actually disappointing.
So ladies and gentlemen what do you think of this weekend's box office totals and what are some of your takeaways? Let me know in the comments section below and let your voice be heard.
