So I recently watched The Expendables 3 and I'm here to bring you my review. So without further ado...
Barney (played by Sylvester Stallone), Christmas (played by Jason Statham) and the rest of the team come face-to-face with Conrad Stonebanks (played by Mel Gibson), who years ago co-founded The Expendables with Barney. Stonebanks subsequently became a ruthless arms trader and someone who Barney was forced to kill... or so he thought. Stonebanks, who eluded death once before, now is making it his mission to end The Expendables -- but Barney has other plans. Barney decides that he has to fight old blood with new blood, and brings in a new era of Expendables team members, recruiting individuals who are younger, faster and more tech-savvy. The latest mission becomes a clash of classic old-school style versus high-tech expertise in the Expendables' most personal battle yet.
This movie is as bad as you expect it to be. I mean you get an all-star cast of 80's action stars as well as a few newcomers. The elder-statesmen of the film do as expected but the younger cast is just flat out terrible. The movie also takes itself way to seriously with a plot that just doesn't make a whole lot of sense and it was unnecessary. I do however like the additions to the cast in the likes of Harrison Ford and Wesley Snipes. The film does have it's comedic moments and that' expected from guys who are trying to have good time. Overall the film is repetitive and boring but it's nice to see this group (besides the younger cast) on screen together. Overall I give The Expendables 3 a 2 out of 10.
So ladies and gentlemen what did you think of The Expendables 3, what would you rate it and what did you think of my review? Let me know in the comments section below and let your voice be heard.
