1. For the 2nd week in a row, Transformers: Age of Extinction takes the number 1 spot.
2. This weeks new releases had good openings eventhough they were overshadowed by Transformers: Age of Extinction.
3. For the first time since the weekend of 3-28-14 to 3-30-14, we do not have a Comic Book film in the top 10.
4. Maleficent finally drops out of the top 5 for the first time during it's run in theaters.
5. Overall it was a really balanced and solid Independence Day weekend box office.
So ladies and gentlemen what do you think of this weekend's box office totals and what are some of your takeaways? Let me know in the comments section below and let your voice be heard.
