1. For the first time in 3 weeks, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle isn't the number one film thanks to Maze Runner: The Death Cure jumping up to that spot.
2. For the first time in 7 weeks, Star Wars Episode VIII: isn't in the top 10, however it is still on pace to pass Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 for 8th highest grossing film of all-time.
3. With this past weekends intake, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle passed Spider-Man: Homecoming for 5th place on the highest grossing domestic films of 2017.
4. The biggest loser of the weekend was 12 Strong as it made 45.1% less than it did last weekend and the biggest winner of the weekend was Hostiles as it made 1,642,4% more than it did last weekend.
5. I went 2 for 5 on my predictions.
Predictions
1. Maze Runner: The Death Cure $16 Million
2. Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle $14 Million
3. Winchester $11 Million
4. Hostiles $6 Million
5. The Greatest Showman $5 Million
So ladies and gentlemen what do you think of this weekend's box office totals and what are some of your takeaways? Let me know in the comments section below and let your voice be heard.
