1. In an unsurprising change, The Fate of the Furious came in at the number one spot and with it's total worldwide intake, it broke the all-time opening worldwide weekend total with over $532 million which puts it on track to get $1 billion.
2. Speaking of $1 billion, Beauty and the Beast (2017) was able to cross the $1 billion mark and it will still continue to gain money over the next couple of weeks.
3. Smurfs: The Lost Village had an absolutely disappointing second weekend at the box office and it goes to show that people in the North America just aren't interested in The Smurfs anymore.
4. The biggest loser of the weekend was Power Rangers (2017) as it made 54.6 % less than it did last weekend and the biggest winner of the weekend was Gifted as it made 589.9% more than it did last weekend.
