1. With the help of strong critical reviews, Get Out took the number one spot at the box office.
2. Lion, La La Land and Hidden Figures have all had great runs in and out of the top 10 and all are well-deserved for the best picture Oscar nominees.
3. Outside of the Oscar films, Split has a great 6 week run at the box office.
4. The biggest loser of the weekend was Fifty Shades Darker which made 61.6% less than it did last weekend and the biggest winner of the weekend was La La Land as it made 2.1% more than it did last weekend.
5. I went 1 for 5 on my predictions.
Predictions
1. Logan $180 Million
2. Get Out $19 Million
3. The Lego Batman Movie $13 Million
4. Before I Fall $9 Million
5. John Wick Chapter 2 $ 6 Million
