1. For the 3rd consecutive weekend, Split claimed the number one spot at the box office
2. Despite getting horrible reviews, Rings was able to claim the 2nd place spot, but it still had the lowest opening weekend total for the Rings franchise.
3. The Space Between Us had a very poor opening weekend to go along with its bad reviews and it would be a miracle if it were to make back its budget
4. The biggest loser of the weekend was Resident Evil: The Final Chapter as it made 65.4% less than it did last weekend and the biggest winner of the weekend was Lion as it made 60.1% more than it did last weekend.
5. I went 2 for 5 on my predictions.
Predictions
1. Fifty Shades Darker $91 Million
2. The Lego Batman Movie $52 Million
3. John Wick Chapter 2 $15 Million
1. Fifty Shades Darker $91 Million
