Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios have released the first Spider-Man: Homecoming trailer! You can watch the domestic Spider-Man: Homecoming trailer below. A young Peter Parker/Spider-Man (Tom Holland), who made his sensational debut in Captain America: Civil War, begins to navigate his newfound identity as the web-slinging super hero in Spider-Man: Homecoming. Thrilled by his experience with the Avengers, Peter returns home, where he lives with his Aunt May (Marisa Tomei), under the watchful eye of his new mentor Tony Stark (Robert Downey, Jr.). Peter tries to fall back into his normal daily routine – distracted by thoughts of proving himself to be more than just your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man – but when the Vulture (Michael Keaton) emerges as a new villain, everything that Peter holds most important will be threatened. Spider-Man: Homecoming also stars Zendaya, Jon Favreau, Donald Glover and Tyne Daly. Directed by Jon Watts, Spider-Man: Homecoming was written by Jonathan Goldstein & John Francis Daley, Jon Watts & Christopher Ford, and Chris McKenna & Erik Sommers. The film is produced by Kevin Feige and Amy Pascal, and executive produced by Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Patricia Whitcher, Jeremy Latcham, and Stan Lee. Spider-Man: Homecoming will swing into theaters on July 7, 2017.
I really loved this trailer so much. For the longest time people have been clamoring for a true adaptation of the Spider-Man comics on the big screen. Now while we've seen some great and some not so great Spider-Man films since 2002, but none of them truly captured the essence of the comics and this trailer does just that. It feels just like what we were promised whihc is a John Hughes type of superhero film and just makes this film 10x better. I love how muchwe see of Tony Stark in the film because after Captain America: Civil War, he is the perfect person to help lead and guide Spider-Man throughout his journey. Also Michael Keaton looks absolutely haunting as Vulture and I'm really excited to see this villain on the big screen for the first time and it really opens up the rogues gallery of villains Spider-Man has and I can't wait to see him for a full film. I think Tom Holland is going to be terrific and I can't wait for the film.
If there were an awards show for trailers and they were to award a best trailer of the year, I would have to say that this one runs away with it. This new Planet of the Apes franchise has just gotten progressivley better with every film and this film looks spectacular. In the older Apes films often times there moements where a great war was menthioned in what led to apes ruling the world and this is the film we finally get to see that war. The CGI looks to times better than what it did just 3 years ago and that's a really great thing. I hope thst this film is good enough for Andy Serkis to get an Oscar nomination because this character he has helped create deserves a lot of praise and attention for just every little thing he is able to. Most of the time, the human characters are the ones that actually take people out of the film, but Woody Harrellson looks completely amazing and I think he is a perfect fit for this universe. I'm very curious to see how this all ends and hoepfully this doesn't mean the end of this franchise based off of these three films.

Universal Pictures has released the trailer for the highly-anticipated eighth Fast & Furious movie! You can watch The Fate of the Furious trailer below. On the heels of 2015’s Furious 7, one of the fastest movies to reach $1 billion worldwide in box-office history and the sixth-biggest global title of all time, comes the newest chapter in one of the most popular and enduring motion-picture serials of all time: The Fate of the Furious. Now that Dom and Letty are on their honeymoon and Brian and Mia have retired from the game—and the rest of the crew has been exonerated—the globetrotting team has found a semblance of a normal life. But when a mysterious woman (Oscar winner Charlize Theron) seduces Dom into the world of crime he can’t seem to escape and a betrayal of those closest to him, they will face trials that will test them as never before. From the shores of Cuba and the streets of New York City to the icy plains off the arctic Barents Sea, our elite force will crisscross the globe to stop an anarchist from unleashing chaos on the world’s stage…and to bring home the man who made them a family. For The Fate of the Furious, Vin Diesel is joined by a returning all-star cast that includes Dwayne Johnson, Jason Statham, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Nathalie Emmanuel, Elsa Pataky and Kurt Russell. In addition to Theron, the series welcomes newcomers Scott Eastwood and Oscar winner Helen Mirren. The film is directed by F. Gary Gray (Straight Outta Compton) and produced by returning producers Neal H. Moritz, Michael Fottrell and Diesel. The Fate of the Furious opens in theaters on April 14, 2017.
I thought this trailer was pretty good. Some trailers show too much and sometimes they even show unecessary stuff and this is what this trailer did. The Fast and The Furious franchise has gotten crazier and even better as each film has come along and hopefully this continues the trend. The twist shown within the trailer is somthing I did not see coming and it does make me curious in how Charlize Theron's character plays into everything and I have a few theories about her character, but I'll save those for later. The last action shot of the trailer with them on the ice looks intense and hopefully the rest of the film is the same way.
Lionsgate has released another new poster for their upcoming big screen reboot of Power Rangers featuring some of the new Zords from the film, though they’re a little camera shy. Check out the new Power Rangers Zords in the poster below. Saban’s Power Rangers follows five ordinary high school kids who must become something extraordinary when they learn that their small town of Angel Grove – and the world – is on the verge of being obliterated by an alien threat. Chosen by destiny, our heroes quickly discover that they are the only ones who can save the planet. But to do so they will have to overcome their real-life issues and band together as the Power Rangers before it is too late. The Power Rangers cast includes Dacre Montgomery (A Few Less Men) as Jason the Red Ranger, RJ Cyler (Me and Earl and the Dying Girl) as Billy the Blue Ranger, Naomi Scott (The 33) as Kimberly the Pink Ranger, Becky G (Empire) as Trini the Yellow Ranger, Ludi Lin (Monster Hunt) as Zack the Black Ranger, with Bill Hader (“Saturday Night Live) voicing Alpha 5, Bryan Cranston (“Breaking Bad,” Godzilla) as Zordon, and Elizabeth Banks as villain Rita Repulsa. Directed by Dean Israelite (Project Almanac), Power Rangers is written by John Gatins (Kong: Skull Island, Real Steel), Burk Sharpless and Matt Sazama (Dracula Untold), Zack Stentz and Ashley Miller (X-Men: First Class, Thor), and Max Landis (Chronicle). Producers are Power Rangers creator Haim Saban, Brian Casentini, Wyck Godfrey, and Marty Bowen (The Twilight Saga, The Fault in Our Stars, The Maze Runner franchise). Power Rangers will be released in theaters on March 24, 2017.
I love this poster. When films hide something in the marketing it often means they either have something special up their sleeve or they don't want people to see how bad that particular thing actually is and in this case I think it's something special. So far everything we've seen of the zords look really great and they look like something that would be for a modern aged fan. Things have changed a lot since 1993 and the zords from then needed an upgrade and this poster shows just that. Now from a good source of mine inside the studio has said some not so great things about the film, but I'm holding out judgement for myself because this is my childhood in a nutshell and I hope what he is saying isn't true come March 24th.
Lifeguards are now on duty! Paramount Pictures has just released the first Baywatch trailer, offering a look at the R-rated action comedy take on the hit TV series. You can check it out below. Baywatch reteams Dwayne Johnson with his San Andreas costar Alexandra Daddario alongside Zac Efron (Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates), Kelly Rohrbach (Broad City), Jon Bass (Loving), Ilfenesh Hadera (Oldboy), Priyanka Chopra (Quantico) and Hannibal Buress (Broad City). Baywatch offers a big-screen take on the television series that originally premiered on NBC in 1989. The original Baywatch cast included David Hasselhoff, Parker Stevenson, Shawn Weatherly, Billy Warlock, Erika Eleniak, Peter Phelps, Brandon Call and Holly Gagnier. The series was initially not a success and was cancelled after a single season. Plans were made, however, to move Baywatch into first-run syndication and, in 1991, Baywatch returned to the airwaves where it continued for a full decade, bringing in new cast members like Yasmine Bleeth and Pamela Anderson. The show also received a short-lived spinoff, Baywatch Hawaii. Although several writers have been attached to the Baywatch movie, the most recent draft hails from the Friday the 13th pair of Damian Shannon and Mark Swift. Horrible Bosses and Identity Thief director Seth Gordon is helming the new Baywatch film, which is being produced by Dwayne Johnson alongside Michael Berk, Greg Bonann, Beau Flynn, Dany Garcia, Ivan Reitman and Douglas Schwartz. Baywatch hits the big screen May 26, 2017.
This was a pretty decent trailer. Look the Baywatch tv series might be the dumbest tv series of all-time, but it never took itself seriously which is what made it so good. The trailer for the film feels the same way and that works in its favor. Dwayne Johnson is the perfect choice to take over the David Hasslehoff role becsuse he doesn't take himself that seriously either which is what makes him so great. Zac Efron is also a great choice for this film simply because he is eye candy for the women and also becasue he is the type of guy you'd expect to be in this film. The comedy doesn't look that strong, but there are a few nice little nods the tv show and I think nostalgia is going to be a big part of this film which is not always a bad thing.
Variety brings word that Emmy-nominated actor Walton Goggins (Justified, The Hateful Eight, Django Unchained) has been tapped to play the main villain in the new Tomb Raider movie. He joins Academy Award winner Alicia Vikander (The Danish Girl), who will play the titular Lara Croft in the video game adaptation. Norwegian filmmaker Roar Uthaug (The Wave) will direct the film, which has a script by Transformers: The Last Knight scribe Geneva Robertson-Dworet. The original Tomb Raider game was published in 1996 by the London-based video game company Eidos and became one of the most successful video games of the time. A reboot of the series, telling the origin of Lara Croft, was released in 2013 and sold over 5 million copies. The most recent game, titled Rise of the Tomb Raider, is available now for the Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC. Paramount Pictures previously made two movies about the daredevil archaeologist on a series of global missions. The films, Lara Croft: Tomb Raider and Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life, starred Angelina Jolie and grossed a combined $432 million at the worldwide box office. Tomb Raider will be distributed by Warner Bros. with MGM. They will produce the film with GK Films. The new Tomb Raider movie is scheduled to hit theaters March 16, 2018.
I really enjoy this casting. Walton Goggins is a great character actor and can basically play any role you'd like him to play. He's already been the villain of a film before (eventhough it was minor part) and he has the look of a villain to him and I think he could be fantastic in this film. In the first two Tom Raider films the villian was played by Lian Glen and Ciarán Hinds so I think Goggins is a major step up from those two. Again this is great casting and I cannot wait to see how he'll do in this role opposite of Alicia Vikander.
